So an emulated version of the PS2 version on PC. And the reason why I recommend this is to be able to play the game undubbed (JP audio, English texts), with skits voiced, which makes a big difference imho. I know some native English speakers don't like foreign voices tho, but if that's important for you, I recommend this way to play.Otherwise, on PS2 the load times are annoying enough to legitely prefer the 3DS version. As Ultridge Pardington said the game has some small flaws, but tbh, 30 FPS isn't an issue precisely because Abyss is super simplistic gameplay wise and doesn't allow for crazy stuff. Maniability is always better with a controller tho, so if that's important to you, pick the PS2 version. PEE ESS TUthe shortcuts are on the touch-screen and there is an ever-so-slight delay before using them and it'll screw up your combos. This bothers me to no end because Abyss has some of the best of the simplistic lmbs combat imo and I hate being limited to four artes.

Also just the general button mapping is wonky bc there just aren't enough buttons on the 3ds. On ps2 you'll have the option to move with d-pad or analog but 3ds you are stuck with that little disk which doesn't always register the correct direction. And I might be the only person bothered by this detail but the UI and menus just looks a lot messier on the 3ds remake because it simply isn't high enough resolution to import the old menu graphics so the text looks like classic DS font and the rest is barf.edit: forgot probably the most important part gripe: ps2 version is 60 fps & 3ds is 30 fpsHowever, if that doesn't bother you then 3ds may be worth it to avoid the agonizing load times.
