The only vaguely informative thing I found on Google was a 'plantronics headset quirk' or similar being added in kernel 2.5.something (I was using 2.4 at the time). I now want to use it with UT2004 but still can't get it working with 2.6. OK, I compiled a new 2.6.5 kernel (though I know I had usb-audio in the old one.) and it seems to work fine now.
